Nivaria Beach is in the little coastal town of Abades, known for its enchanting white houses, in southern Tenerife. It is a privileged area, with more than 3300 hours of sunshine a year. In summer, the trade winds soften the temperatures, and make the heat not as suffocating as in other areas of the south of the island.
Our apartments and villas are built in an exceptional area: directly in front of the sea, 4 minutes walking from the beautiful Los Abriguitos Beach. Expanding across one of the best-preserved areas in the south of Tenerife, this beach is pristine and practically untouched. With dozens of rock coves, it is a paradise for both scuba divers and those in search of natural beauty.
The surroundings are home to plenty of trails to explore on foot or by bike (visiting the Abona lighthouse or El Poris Beach are both highly recommended). The nearby rock formations are famous among rock climbers from around the world. If you like golf, some of the most popular and impressive golf courses on the island are just a quick 15-minute drive away. At sunset, tourists and locals fill the bars and restaurants for food and drinks to enjoy the lively atmosphere. There is a supermarket just 100 meters away from Nivaria Beach.
Thanks to the easily accessible highway, lovers of active tourism will have no trouble mixing their relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of Tenerife’s large resorts with excursions around the island. Nivaria Beach is just a 10-minute drive from Tenerife South Airport and 25 minutes from Santa Cruz de Tenerife or La Laguna. There are also a few grocery stores nearby for those that prefer to get around without a car.
